Our athletes are like any other athlete, they like to train, they like to compete and win or lose, they always try their best. The confidence and self-esteem they gain on the playing field carries over onto the playing field of life, helping to make them contributing members of their community. We believe that Special Olympics is more than sports, it is "Training for Life!"
Team Folsom Hill provides sports training and competition to about 120 athletes ranging in age from 8 to a 70! We currently provide opportunities in nine different sports. Each sport season consists of 6 to 8 weeks of training and concludes with a Regional Competition in the greater Sacramento area.

Team Folsom Hills once again felt the "Thrill of the Chill" as team members plunged into the cold waters of Folsom Lake at Brown's Ravine on Saturday, March 19.
Folsom Hills athletes, along with Law Enforcement Officers from our community, serve as celebrity hosts and hostesses at local restaurants in the Folsom area. Look for this featured event in the spring and fall each year. Information will be posted as these events are announce
The 2022 Games united more than 5,500 athletes and coaches from all 50 states and the Caribbean. The games took place in Orlando, Florida from June 5-12. Team Folsom Hills was represented by two athletes - one Swimmer and one Track & Field Athle
Founded in 2010, Folsom Hills Special Olympics has been a proud member of the local sports community for over a decade. We have competed in numerous leagues and tournaments, showcasing our skills and sportsmanship.
Our team is made up of dedicated and passionate players who come from all walks of life. We have a diverse group of individuals who share a common love for the game and a commitment to excellence.
Over the years, Folsom Hills Special Olympics has achieved great success on and off the field. We have won multiple championships and have been recognized for our community service and philanthropic efforts.
